My name is Marko Makela, a Finnish-Canadian contractor with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. I began working on job sites at a young age alongside my father and have since built a strong foundation in both residential and commercial construction. Over the years, I have successfully operated my own construction business, specializing in high-quality custom projects.
Among my areas of expertise, sauna building has become a defining focus of my work. As a master sauna builder, I have designed and constructed a range of custom saunas, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern performance and design. Moving forward, I am dedicated to advancing this craft and promoting authentic sauna culture that enhances both physical and mental well-being.
